Yes. Before redesigning an established website, we review indexed pages, search traffic, backlinks, metadata and any content that already performs well. Important URLs are retained where practical, and changed URLs receive specific 301 redirects. We also preserve useful copy, improve internal linking, update the sitemap and monitor the launch for crawl errors. No redesign can guarantee that rankings will never fluctuate, but careful migration planning greatly reduces avoidable losses and often creates a stronger technical and content foundation.

Yes. The editing experience is planned around your team. WordPress is often a good fit when staff need familiar page and blog editing, while a Next.js website can connect to a headless content system when performance and custom development are priorities. We create reusable content patterns, limit unnecessary options and provide launch training. You can manage routine updates internally, use an Urban Web care plan, or combine both approaches.

A focused small-business website may take roughly six to ten weeks, while a larger site, ecommerce build or custom React project can take longer. Timing depends on content readiness, integrations, stakeholder approvals and the number of unique templates required. At the start we define milestones for discovery, content, design, development, testing and launch. Clear responsibilities and timely feedback are usually the biggest factors in keeping a project moving without sacrificing quality.

We use the Next.js App Router with Static Site Generation or Server-Side Rendering so headings, page copy, links and structured data are delivered in the initial HTML. Every public page receives unique metadata, a canonical URL and crawlable internal links. Images use the Next.js Image component, routes are included in the XML sitemap and semantic HTML gives the content a clear hierarchy. We also address redirects, Core Web Vitals, robots directives and local business schema rather than assuming that choosing React alone produces good SEO.

Launch is followed by real-device checks, analytics verification, form testing, sitemap submission and monitoring for broken links or indexing issues. Urban Web can continue with hosting, backups, updates, security monitoring, content changes and SEO work. We also provide the source and documentation appropriate to the project, so the website is maintainable and your organization is not left without a clear support path.
