The FU-Review

What do i say about this movie? Ok, it didn't seem particularly well put together, first and foremost. It was like they just took a bunch of sick jokes, threw them in with the strength of the two main characters and an Ok story and hoped it worked. Lucky for them, it did. But i would have preferred a more solid overall movie. Fuck it though. Brand's character is actually really good, although I'm wondering if he has already been typecast as this kind of character for the future. I mean the guy dresses like this in real life so it didn't seem like a stretch for him either. Jonah Hill was funny at times but Brands character stole the show. Actually i have to give P Diddy credit as well, he turned in a pretty funny character too, with a few hilarious scenes. There is tons of cameos(Christina Aguilera, Rick Schroder, Pink, Dee Snider, Mario Lopez, Lars Ulrich, Kristen Bell, Pharrel, and a few more) as well. This movie is a semi sequel to "Forgetting Sarah Marshal", a movie that came out a few years back and starred Hill and Brand. Brands character is the same but Hill's is brand new, although not far off from the character he played in "Marshal"(some dude who really likes Brands character and is a huge fan). The reason why i say this movie was good though was beacause i laughed my ass off most of the way through. at least 15-20 times i was more than giggling. That fact alone is reason enough to tell you to see it. There really isnt many movies that come out that are consistently funny, so this movie gets my vote. Rude comedy, toilet humor, and a bit of heart is what this movie is. I didnt care much for the side story of his relationship with his nerdy, bossy wife. The movie ends nicely and the two guys (Brand and Hill) work well together and seem like good friends. What I'm saying is they did a good job casting those two characters as the stars. it worked.
